KIX Heating & Air was founded by Ian Miller with one simple goal in mind: to deliver quality work you can trust from people who genuinely care. After years of hands-on experience in the HVAC field—both in the trade and in management—Ian felt called to build something of his own. Not just a company, but a legacy he could stand behind and eventually leave to his children.

As a lifelong local—having lived in the area for nearly 50 years—Ian understands the value of community. KIX Heating & Air is proudly family-owned and operated alongside his wife, Kaylynn, and built on the belief that our neighbors’ homes should be treated with the same care and respect as our own. Honesty, pride in workmanship, and standing behind every job aren’t marketing slogans here—they’re how we do business.

Throughout his professional career in the HVAC industry, Ian has been recognized for excellence, earning awards such as Employee of the Month, Top Producer, and the Best of Denton Award. Just as important to him, Ian has trained and mentored several gentlemen from the very beginning of their careers, helping them build strong foundations in the trade and in life.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. Ian and Kaylynn are proud parents of three adult children—Haley, Ethan, and Hanna—and even prouder grandparents to their grandson, Xayden, the red-headed boy you’ll see featured in many of our advertisements. In his free time, Ian enjoys building custom golf carts with his son, staying active in their church, and participating in a men’s group that emphasizes faith, accountability, and service.
